The ongoing lockdown, in the wake of the covid-19 pandemic, has affected the lives of some of the most vulnerable communities across the country, the worst affected being the migrant workers, single mothers and daily wagers.

It has also shattered the healthcare system. Cry for hospital beds, oxygen cylinders, useful drugs and protection clothing are heard everyday. Due to high demand and less supply, some miscreants have started black-medical market where used masks and saline are sold instead of proper medical equipment. Many people are not able to afford RT-PCR tests let alone ICU beds. People are denied of health due to non-affordability.
